3. Your string path builds automatically as you go.
4. When you're happy, export or copy it to follow on your real board.

1. Set a custom nail layout — choose edges or place nails manually.
2. Add multiple layers for multi-colour designs, each with its own colour and opacity.
3. Fine-tune thread weight and opacity per layer.
4. Use Continue pattern to auto-extend your sequence by a set number of steps.

How to Use the String Art Designer
1. Choose your board settings
Pick your shape, number of nails, and any other settings you want.
2. On phones and tablets
Scroll down and tap Open Draw Mode to open the
full-screen drawing board. This is the easiest way to use the tool on a
mobile.
3. Start your pattern
Tap one nail, then tap another to draw a line between them.
4. Keep building your design
Continue tapping nails in order to create your pattern.
5. Check your sequence
The sequence shows the order of the nails you selected.
